I am Beth Viquesney. I have been a teacher in the Phoenix Union High School District for 15 years. I taught at two of our comprehensive campuses and was the Exceptional Student Services Facilitator at Central High School for seven years. I currently work at the PUHSD Center for Education office in the Exceptional Student Services program. I work with and support our small schools; BioScience High School, Franklin Police and Fire High School, Linda Abril Education Academy and Phoenix Coding Academy. I work directly and indirectly with the teaching teams and staff to address the unique needs of their students. I also directly assist these students with their academic progress in their course of study. This includes working on Individual Education Plans (IEPs), 504 Accommodation Plans, providing consultation for any needed or recommended student support interventions, and providing professional development and guidance to staff to help identify and support student needs.
If you have a question about your student’s needs that you feel I can assist with, please feel free to contact me directly.
