    MARYVALE IS A CLOSED CAMPUS. No student may leave campus until the end of the school day.
     
     
    PANTHERTOWN camp applications are available in rooms 421 and 704. They are due by September 23rd.
     
    MARYVALE THEATRE presents ”Triangle,” a riveting drama about women’s rights and the role of immigrants in America on September 21st and 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Cost is $4.00 at the door.
     
    SEPTEMBER 16 is Mexican Independence Day. In honor of this holiday, M.E.Ch.A. is holding a costume contest today to see who can best dress up as a significant figure that has Mexican roots, such as: Frida Kahlo, Selena or Cesar Chavez to name a few. The winners will be named in the Quad Area during lunch. There will be one winner per lunch.
     
    Congratulations to Hailie Wilder for placing 2nd in our golf match and Anjolette Vasquez for placing 7th against Sierra Linda, Marcos De Niza and Camelback. They did an amazing job out of a field of 17 golfers.
     
    Your Cross Country team, the most feared team in the galaxy, went into Prescott, AZ and competed with what the Great State of Arizona has to offer. They returned with hands full of medals. Mia Avelar and Janet Chavez finished first in their races and Ariz Duarte, Anette Carrasco, Alejandra Hernandez, and Gaby Quinonez all finished within the top 15 overall!! Angel Tapia, Daniel Islas, and Jesus Flores also finish within the top 15 overall for the boys race!!

    Your Panthers Cross Country race again in Tempe next weekend where they will face the best teams in the state and continue to strive for greatness!!

    OPEN HOUSE: This evening you and your parents can attend the varsity football game vs. Betty Fairfax for FREE, simply by participating in Open House. Make sure you fill out the yellow schedule sheet and come for some fun.
     
    ATTENTION STUDENTS: Please make sure you fill out and return a new lunch application immediately. Do your part to make sure that Maryvale may continue to offer you free breakfast and lunch. If you need a bus card, please bring your completed lunch and bus application to Mrs. Jackson in the cafeteria.
