I'm excited to be starting my 16th year of teaching and my very first year at Phoenix Coding Academy. I love learning about science and technology as well as working closely with students and other teachers in a small school environment, so being here at Coding Academy is very exciting for me. I am also the mother of an 11-year-old boy who has just as much energy as me, so he keeps me very busy when I'm not at school. My family and I spend lots of time outside gardening and actively exploring our world. I also love to cook, and like to incorporate the chemistry behind the food that we eat as much as possible into the classroom. I teach on the sophomore team, where we have created an integrated experience with all of the sophomore courses through the use of our 5 investigations throughout the year.
